Projects
Here are a couple of passion projects I've worked on!
The Queer Horror Collective
Discussion-based club in Orlando
I am the Vice President of The Queer Horror Collective, which is a club that analyzes sub-genres of (fictional) horror through diverse theoretical lenses, with a focus on queerness representation and themes, but also from a feminist, racial, social class, and disability perspective. I run the official Instagram page.
"One Small Step" Facilitator
Rhetoric & Civic Engagement Class Project
For a course project, I collaborated with Central Florida Public Media to facilitate a political discussion between two of my peers who hold opposing viewpoints. The goal of this assignment was to help combat demagoguery and bridge the political divide by engaging in contact theory.
